Twenty years ago, the British Government began work on a program that would collect DNA from some of history's most influential figures and use it to parent children. Children who they believed, with the right training, could become the next wave of world leaders.

For Bess, her donor was Queen Elizabeth I, the Virgin Queen. While she may share the DNA of good Queen Bess, this Bess is far from being a virgin. A party girl and socialite, Bess goes through boyfriends the way some people go through tissues. She can come off as a snob and a bit aloof, but she's fiercely loyal to her circle of close friends and would do anything for them.
